Character Design with Blender

A character made with Blender 2.82 using Cycles Render Engine.

Background

Skully is my take on a tall, scary, yet friendly-looking monster character. The design is based of the native folklore creature called the Wendigo, though less morbid and horrific. This creature was quickly sculpted and then procedurally textured with bump maps, the most difficult challenge was managing the hair particles. I learnt that with the right setup, blender can produce simple, yet realistic results for single frame pictures.
